LGC 1970's

In 1976 Robert Marshall, Chartered Architect, from Todmorden was asked to draw up plans for a further extension to the ground floor to include living accommodation for the Steward. The plans show bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 replacing the Ladies locker room, with the extension itself incorporating living/dining room, kitchen and new Ladies locker room on the south westerly facing wall. The Ladies entrance was to be on the front of the building with the Stewards private entrance where the current Ladies locker room entrance is now. These plans where approved by the Steward of the Manor on the 6th July 1976 - unfortunately this project was not given approval by the Club Council and was abandoned.
